Lead the design and deployment of data-driven models for a production-scale metal 3D printing system, with emphasis on model predictive control and physics-based simulations.
Develop deep learning frameworks to model laser melting physics and the thermo-mechanical response of printed parts.
Create unsupervised and supervised learning approaches to correlate process data with part quality and geometric features.
Collaborate with simulations and software teams to deploy ML models in production and build the big data infrastructure needed to support continuous learning.
Own data models for end-to-end automation of the platform and contribute to machine health monitoring modules.
Operate in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environment, translating first-principles reasoning into scalable, maintainable software.
