Musician in Residence – Dudley

The position involves contributing to the development of music within the school by employing various talents such as instrumentation, singing, or composition. The role requires supervising practice sessions, assisting with classroom instruction in Key Stage 3 and 4, and organising extracurricular musical activities. The musician will support concert planning, perform in school events, and assist administrative tasks within the music department. Additional responsibilities include supervising students as a residential tutor, managing house duties, and supporting student welfare and activities. The ideal candidate possesses excellent interpersonal skills, organisational ability, and experience in coaching young people in music, with a flexible attitude towards working hours and safeguarding responsibilities.
