Advanced Practice Physiotherapist – Crosshouse

An opportunity exists for a HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with postgraduate MSc or equivalent to provide advanced musculoskeletal clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning at University Hospital Crosshouse. The role involves managing complex MSK presentations independently, requesting investigations following protocol, and supporting clinical governance, research, and pathway development. Candidates should exhibit autonomous practice, advanced reasoning, and excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Experiences in primary care MSK pathways and NHS environment are desirable. The position offers a permanent contract with part-time hours, working 22 hours per week, starting from 1 April 2026, with a UK driving licence essential.
