Senior Estimator – Construction & Groundworks

The senior construction estimator plays a key role in securing profitable projects by preparing accurate cost estimates for groundworks and civil engineering tasks. The role involves collaboration with various internal teams and external stakeholders to manage tender processes from enquiry to bid submission. The candidate will be responsible for measuring, pricing, and preparing tender documentation, as well as identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions. Requirements include extensive experience in estimating, strong understanding of contracts, and the ability to lead and mentor junior estimators. The position is based at the head office with occasional site visits in the South-West and South Wales regions. Technical skills such as cost estimating software, Bill of Quantities, and compliance with standards are essential.
