Clinical Psychologist – Halifax

A Clinical Psychologist is required to join a multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people in residential care and a specialised SEMH school in Halifax. The role involves conducting psychological assessments, delivering individual and group interventions, and supporting staff through training and consultation. The successful candidate will work closely with education and care teams to implement trauma-informed practices and contribute to care planning and risk assessments. They will also engage with families in systemic and therapeutic work, promoting emotional development and recovery. Applicants should possess at least three years of relevant experience and are expected to deliver trauma-informed psychological services in a dynamic environment. The position offers full-time or part-time hours within a permanent contract, with a salary aligned to Band 7/8a depending on experience.
