Senior AML Compliance Officer

A Senior AML Compliance Officer is responsible for leading financial crime compliance initiatives, including AML, sanctions, and client onboarding across the business. They support the review and development of policies, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure regulatory compliance and best practice. The role involves handling complex queries related to AML, KYC, and sanctions, as well as supporting internal audits and regulatory interactions. They will prepare reports, conduct reviews, and assist in regulatory responses to ensure high standards of compliance. The candidate will deliver training, draft guidance, and contribute to cross-group projects on legislation changes, new technology, and process improvements. This position requires strong technical knowledge of UK financial crime legislation and excellent communication skills, functioning both independently and collaboratively.
