DevOps Engineer

A DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing build, release, deployment, and configuration activities within cross-functional teams. The role involves supporting the delivery of services that improve citizen access and experience through transformational programmes. Key duties include working with automation tools, evaluating and updating solutions, creating test plans, provisioning environments, reviewing application performance, and assisting with legacy system migration. Candidates should have experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, containerisation, and monitoring tools, along with agile methodologies and security best practices. This position requires prior security clearance at SC level and offers a hybrid working pattern within UK locations, including Birmingham.
