Frontend / Fullstack Developer – Wolverhampton

A technology consultancy is hiring a Frontend or Fullstack Developer specialising in Node.js for a role based in Wolverhampton. The position involves developing and maintaining secure, high-performing software hosted on AWS, working independently and with stakeholders. Candidates should possess at least three years of experience with Node.js frameworks like Express or NestJS, and have a solid understanding of REST APIs, backend design, and integration. Hands-on experience with various AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, or DynamoDB is required, with additional knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation being desirable. Familiarity with secure coding standards and working within Agile teams is expected, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with government or defence projects is advantageous, and candidates should be eligible for security clearance, ideally having UK residency for over five years.
