The role
Deliver high-quality financial analysis and planning to support strategic decision-making within the volunteering portfolio.
Act as a finance business partner to budget holders and senior teams, guiding in-year forecasts and three-year plans aligned to strategy.
Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and the annual budgeting cycle, driving continuous improvements in reporting and processes.
Identify financial risks and opportunities, implement controls, and pursue cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
Collaborate with operational partners to appraise business cases and capex investments, delivering clear narratives to stakeholders.
Leverage technology and data to enhance financial presentations and maintain proactive, flexible engagement with stakeholders.
