The role
Coordinate import logistics and cargo movement for multiple product lines, ensuring on-time delivery from ports, borders, and warehouses.
Monitor ETA, cargo status, and communicate with shippers to avoid demurrage and detention.
Manage import/export documentation (ETA, Bill of Lading) and update Manufacturing on Demand Bill of Lading (MOD BL) for transshipments.
Coordinate appointments, carrier dispatches, and warehouse pickups while ensuring service levels are met.
Analyze carrier performance using efficiency, cost, and service metrics; drive standardization and process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers; ensure compliance with privacy standards and internal procedures.
