The role
Lead the end-to-end development of production Android apps in Kotlin, focusing on AI-enabled features and robust user experiences.
Integrate AI capabilities (chat, vision, speech) via backend APIs and ensure seamless camera, microphone, and file workflows.
Design UX patterns for AI interactions, including streaming results, retries, and partial outputs, while managing latency and offline states.
Optimize performance, memory usage, and responsiveness for AI-heavy flows, and implement analytics and feedback loops for evaluation.
Collaborate with backend and AI engineers on API contracts, security, and scalability, and own features from conception to production.
Embrace a high-ownership culture, design for failure, and build mobile as a first-class, production-ready system.
