Senior Associate - Healthcare Regulatory
Senior Associate – Healthcare Regulatory based in Manchester, joining a national team supporting healthcare professionals and organisations in regulatory matters. You will defend clients before regulators (GMC/MPTS, GDC, GOC, GPhC, NMC, HCPC) and NHS Trusts, and will handle CQC proceedings, coroner’s inquests, data disputes, and related inquiries. The role requires managing a varied caseload with complex regulatory and inquest work, applying law to international client needs, and delivering high-quality drafting. You will work in a collaborative, hybrid environment with two days in the office, while supporting junior team members and supervising as needed. A minimum of 6 years PQE in healthcare regulatory defence is expected, with strong technical ability, initiative, and exceptional attention to detail. You will contribute to the national healthcare practice, liaising with insurers, medical/dental defence organisations, professional associations, and private clients.
