The role
Based in the Department of International Relations, the post holder will contribute to the academic environment by conducting and publishing high-quality research, delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and participating in departmental and university activities. Candidates must have expertise and research interests in International Relations or International Political Economy, with a focus on Global Environmental Politics, Environmental Justice or Energy Politics. They should demonstrate a clear strategy for impactful future research likely to achieve world-leading publications. The role requires a PhD or near completion in relevant fields, with a proven or potential record of publishing in top journals or with respected publishers. Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability are essential, alongside commitment to diversity and inclusion in research and teaching.
