The role
A Quality Assurance Tester in Belfast is responsible for validating software products through manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality releases. The role involves participating actively in scrum ceremonies, developing automation scripts, and managing test artefacts to meet audit standards, as well as tracking testing progress for stakeholders. Candidates should have experience with industry-standard tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and HPALM, along with strong SQL skills and familiarity with APIs and automation frameworks like Selenium and Cucumber. Knowledge of large-scale data platforms including Hadoop and Hive, as well as experience in financial services, especially custody and funds, are beneficial.
