The role
Locum Ready offers opportunities for NMC-registered practice nurses in Edinburgh to provide flexible sessional work across primary care settings. This role involves delivering treatment room clinics, supporting chronic disease management, administering immunisations, and performing NHS Health Checks. Nurses must be confident with routine tasks, adaptable to different clinical teams, and familiar with primary care systems. Training in immunisation and cytology is advantageous, along with an enhanced DBS check. The work schedule is fully flexible, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, on a short-term or ongoing basis. Candidates will be matched with local practices based on their skills and availability, supporting a range of primary care professionals.
