The role
Serve as a subject matter expert in intellectual property with leadership of in-depth portfolio analysis and patent ownership diligence.
Lead drafting and negotiation of asset purchase and assignment agreements in support of corporate M&A initiatives.
Review and analyze diligence materials, including licensing agreements and seller disclosures.
Provide timely, actionable legal guidance to business units and collaborate with licensing, tax, litigation, and operations teams.
Coordinate with internal IP prosecution teams and external counsel on patent portfolio management and portfolio maintenance.
Support training on IP best practices, policy compliance, and governance; contribute to IP risk assessment and governance programs.
