The role
Lead the legal function as the most senior attorney, reporting to the CFO and collaborating with the CEO.
Draft, negotiate, and manage enterprise customer and partner agreements and vendor arrangements for a B2B SaaS platform.
Provide pragmatic, business-focused guidance on data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and related online data issues.
Develop scalable processes, playbooks, and tools to improve efficiency, including contract lifecycle management and AI-enabled workflows.
Over time, expand into other areas such as product counseling, employment, international expansion, IP, governance, and M&A/fundraising by managing outside counsel.
Lead cross-functional collaboration and act as a strategic business partner to balance risk with objectives while growing the function domestically and internationally.
