The role
Sinai Health seeks a registered physiotherapist to provide clinical assessment and treatment for inpatients in general internal medicine units at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. The role involves developing and implementing therapeutic interventions, documenting activities, discharge planning, workload recording, supervising physiotherapy assistants, and participating in interdisciplinary clinics and student teaching. Candidates should be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and have experience in interdisciplinary education. Preferably, applicants will have one year of relevant patient treatment experience and possibly hold membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Strong clinical skills across various diagnostic groups, especially with geriatric populations, are essential, along with decision-making, innovative care, and excellent communication abilities.
