The role
An Azure DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment processes. They manage Azure resources using scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python and implement containerisation with Docker. The role includes integrating automated testing and security tools, managing secrets, and setting up monitoring and incident response within Azure environments. Candidates should have practical experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates, and be familiar with deployment strategies like blue/green and canary. They collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions in an Azure-based environment. Candidates must possess strong technical skills in cloud and DevOps tools, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
