The role
Seagate is seeking a legal Counsel II to join its Legal Department as part of the Commercial Contracts Group. This full-time hybrid position is based at the Springtown site in Derry/Londonderry. The role involves working on complex legal issues across the EMEA region, providing strategic legal advice and collaborating with international legal teams. Key duties include drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, advising on compliance and regulations such as data privacy, antitrust, and export controls, and monitoring EU laws to mitigate legal risks. Candidates must have at least four years of transactional legal experience, preferably within EU law and the tech sales industry. Strong communication skills, legal judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
