The role
Lead econometric and experimental analyses to quantify how risk changes in complex human–AI systems.
Design and execute experimental and observational studies to identify causal drivers across product, policy, and external developments.
Develop econometric approaches to estimate the impact of product decisions, policy changes, and external events on key risk vectors.
Design and deploy A/B tests and quasi-experimental designs to measure risk changes and uncover underlying mechanisms.
Establish baselines and statistical confidence around core metrics and collaborate with teams to track risks and evaluate interventions.
Requires 3–6+ years in econometrics or causal inference, strong Python/SQL, and the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical partners; hybrid role based in San Francisco (3 days/week in the office), relocation support available.
