The role
A prominent international organisation seeks a Legal Counsel to support its operations in Leeds, offering a comprehensive in-house role covering commercial and legal matters. The position involves drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, alongside managing contractual risks and developing contract templates. The successful candidate will provide legal advice, conduct research, and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary. They must have strong commercial contracts experience, a pragmatic approach to legal matters, and excellent organisational skills. In-depth understanding of contractual risk, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work independently are essential. Candidates with additional language skills and in-house or private practice experience will be considered favourably.
