The role
Own and execute the vision for applying ML to Trust & Safety to proactively combat abuse at scale.
Lead and grow a high-performing Safety ML team, spanning research, development, productionization, and continuous improvement.
Develop and deploy cutting-edge systems, including fine-tuned LLMs and transformer models, optimized for quality, latency, and efficiency.
Collaborate with Safety, Product, Moderation, and Platform teams to identify risks, emerging harm vectors, and ML opportunities that improve detection and user experience.
Drive experimentation, evaluation, and lifecycle management with emphasis on precision, recall, explainability, and policy alignment.
Champion responsible AI practices, track impact with clear metrics, and represent the function in internal and external forums.
