The role
A construction site in Southampton is seeking an experienced Carpenter for a 2–3 week contract. The candidate must possess solid carpentry skills and be confident working with MDF, timber, and various hand and power tools. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, fitting boxing, and supporting trades such as plumbing and electrical work, while ensuring safety and tidiness on site. Candidates should have a valid CSCS card, own tools, and relevant experience in carpentry or general building work. Attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork are essential, along with a good understanding of health and safety protocols.
