The role
A Front End Developer is required to work within an agile team on improving digital products, specifically enhancing the publishing platform and data visualisation features. The role involves extending functionality using Javascript frameworks such as Highcharts and D3, building mobile-first websites, and collaborating with UX designers and other specialists. Candidates should possess skills in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Sass, Angular, and REST, with experience in TDD or BDD testing frameworks like Mocha or Jasmine. The work is based in Newport, South Wales, with one day a week in the office, subject to security vetting requirements. In this role, the developer will be expected to understand user requirements, contribute to technical design, and assist in delivering high-quality digital solutions in a collaborative environment.
