The role
Participates in the design and construction of a variety of public works and utility facilities under limited supervision.
Develops project plans, specifications, and cost estimates; conducts plans reviews and construction inspections for conformance.
Acts as project engineer on construction projects, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and the public.
Performs field surveys and maintains engineering records; supports GIS asset inventories and data management.
Contributes to inflow and infiltration programs and sewer asset replacement projects using trenchless repair methods (CIPP, CCTV).
Communicates clearly, analyzes engineering data, and applies applicable codes and standards to engineering problems.
