The role
A mid-level back-end engineer with 3 to 6 years' experience is sought to develop and maintain production backend services managing multi-currency balances and enabling cross-border payments in Bracknell. The role involves designing APIs, data modelling, deploying cloud services on AWS, and ensuring reliability and observability of services. Candidates should have proficiency in C# or similar OOP languages, SQL, and familiarity with AWS native services such as SQS, DynamoDB, and Lambda. Strong system design skills, particularly with distributed and event-driven architectures, are essential, along with excellent communication abilities. Experience in financial systems, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and automation testing using AI tools is advantageous.
