The role
Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and time for public and private civil construction projects up to $3 million.
Perform quick quantity takeoffs from plans and specs, develop subcontractor parameters, and review pricing.
Prepare accurate, well-organized cost estimates aligned with standards, specifications, and contract documents.
Coordinate daily with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and project representatives.
Create project schedules, organize subcontractor quotations, negotiate quotes, and maintain unit pricing databases.
Work onsite and in the office with travel and occasional extended hours, emphasizing organization, communication, and detail orientation.
