The role
The role involves providing legal guidance on employment law across various jurisdictions, supporting the People team and leadership with employment contracts, policies, and dispute resolution. The legal counsel will manage employment tribunal claims, draft and review employee documentation, and advise on legal risks in workforce decisions. They should have experience in employment law, demonstrate strong project management skills, and build effective stakeholder relationships. The role requires working independently and collaboratively, supporting other legal areas such as contract negotiations, and adapting to a fast-paced environment. It can be full-time or part-time, with responsibilities including legal compliance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
