The role
Plan and conduct engineering studies, surveys, and inspections of fuel storage and fuel handling systems and facilities.
Identify future facility needs, assist in developing scope, cost estimates, and project data, and maintain oversight of approved projects.
Investigate problems arising during construction and coordinate with designers or executing agents to resolve issues.
Manage maintenance and overhauls of five POL fuel barges, including development of overhaul packages (plans, specifications, and cost estimates).
Manage the Fuel Department Weight Handling Equipment program to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, and standards while supporting modernization and reliability of POL infrastructure.
