The role
Lead and manage the financial accounting team to deliver high-quality results.
Own accounting policies and lead the implementation of new accounting standards.
Oversee statutory and regulatory reporting, with cycles across monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.
Ensure compliance with regulations, IFRS/UK GAAP and internal policies; drive process and systems improvements.
Provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters and collaborate with stakeholders to support decision-making.
Manage the external audit process and liaise with external auditors.
