The role
Lead the 0-1 development of the User Identity Knowledge Graph, defining the vision, technical strategy, and research agenda for this greenfield initiative.
Shape the problem space by identifying challenges and translating ambiguous business needs across Netflix business domains into concrete research and engineering objectives.
Design, prototype, and deploy novel machine learning and knowledge representation models that capture rich, multi-faceted user information.
Set the research roadmap, prioritizing efforts to balance long-term vision with near-term impact and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and impactful.
Bring proven technical leadership in ambiguous spaces, with strong communication and ownership to deliver measurable business value.
