The role
Line 1: Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end Search & Discovery systems, including cutting-edge generative AI-based search capabilities.
Line 2: Own the ML design, evaluation, and operational excellence of retrieval and ranking models with measurable impact.
Line 3: Build scalable data and ML pipelines, optimize serving constraints, and implement embedding-based retrieval (EBR) with ANN techniques.
Line 4: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions that improve user engagement and revenue.
Line 5: Explore advanced methods such as contrastive learning, meta-learning, few-shot learning, and reinforcement learning for cold-start and exploration.
Line 6: Define and monitor success metrics, run A/B tests, and ensure robust production-grade ML systems with strong observability.
