The role
Perform coder audits based on the established system plan to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.
Distribute audit findings to stakeholders and document outcomes for transparency.
Develop corrective actions for coding, billing, and documentation issues to drive improvement.
Conduct trend analysis to identify educational needs and target training accordingly.
Deliver training programs and provide education and support to enhance compliance monitoring.
Support ongoing monitoring of high-risk areas and contribute to documentation improvement efforts.
