The role
As a Research Engineer in the Applied Robotics team, you will enable external partners to access and deploy state-of-the-art Gemini robotics models in real-world applications.
You will prototype, build infrastructure, scale algorithms, and develop tools, while analyzing experiments to drive impact.
Collaborate with robotics partners to tailor model development recipes and empower customized deployments.
Design and maintain flexible model development pipelines and verified recipes to benefit the broader robotics ecosystem.
Identify bottlenecks across the full system stack and work with robotics and GDM infrastructure teams on roadmaps.
You will translate partner needs into practical tool development, maintaining a product-minded, cross-functional mindset.
