The role
AVP Compliance Officer in Des Plaines, IL, accountable for developing, implementing, and maintaining the bank's overall compliance program.
Lead risk assessments and regular compliance audits to identify gaps and drive remediation.
Monitor regulatory requirements and deliver timely reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
Provide guidance and training to business units across CRA, BSA, Fair Lending, TILA, RESPA, and related areas.
Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints, ensuring alignment with internal policies.
Requires strong banking regulations knowledge; hands-on, collaborative, and eligible for up to $120,000 salary plus benefits; CRCM/CAMS or similar certifications preferred.
