The role
Join a maintenance team as a Mechanical Engineer responsible for supporting buildout, commissioning, and ongoing operation of a sulfuric acid and lithium processing plant.
Champion process and mechanical safety by adhering to MSHA, OSHA, and ASME standards, contributing to PHA, MOC, and PSSR activities.
Serve as the site Mechanical Engineering SME, troubleshooting equipment performance with CMMS data and Process Data Historian to support operations.
Specify and procure replacement equipment, maintain plant drawings, and manage capital and sustaining projects from concept through start-up.
Oversee contractor work during maintenance and project execution, collaborating with production and QA to optimize processes and ensure compliance.
Foster continuous improvement and safety culture, document lessons learned, and build cross-functional relationships aligned with the site's purpose and values.
