The role
The procurement specialist will provide expert procurement strategy, advice, and guidance to defence clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. They will source, evaluate, and acquire goods and services while developing and executing procurement plans aligned with project goals. Negotiating and supporting contract award processes, including handling contract changes, are key responsibilities. The role involves managing supplier relationships and collaborating on end-to-end procurement for major defence projects. Candidates should have proven experience in procurement within defence, construction, or infrastructure sectors, with knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 and JCT contract frameworks. Strong negotiation, communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills are essential for success.
