The role

Serve as the Associate General Counsel for Claims and Litigation, providing day-to-day direction and coordination of legal services for claims and litigation.
Oversee complex matters under the Contract Disputes Act, CBCA representation, DOJ-litigation support, and defense of tort claims against the agency.
Direct and manage a legal staff, addressing questions of law or policy that are novel or without precedent.
Engage with high-level stakeholders, including Congressional committees, other Federal agencies, and industry leaders, to advance strategic interests.
Formulate and recommend litigation strategy, policies, and practices to resolve claims efficiently, and identify needs for new or revised legislation or regulatory material.
Lead and supervise attorneys in discovery, depositions, briefs, petitions, motions, and other filings before tribunals, U.S. District Courts, the Court of Federal Claims, CBCA, GAO, and regulatory bodies.
