The role
Lead and oversee the organization-wide Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) program to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Provide guidance and technical assistance to management and staff on OSH policy implementation, OSHA standards, and injury reporting.
Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits, monitor data in the Inventory Reporting Information System (IRIS), and prepare senior-management reports.
Analyze OSH data related to hazards and annual surveys, ensuring proper documentation of abatement plans and interim controls.
Coordinate and produce the Annual OSH Report to the Secretary of Labor and represent the agency at national safety committees and conferences.
Design, implement, and evaluate hazard analysis training (EHAC), and ensure injuries and illnesses are recorded in eCOMP to analyze national trends.
