The role
A senior legal professional is sought to provide commercial legal support within a large UK-based retail company with international reach. The role involves drafting and negotiating various agreements, including licences and commercial contracts, supporting strategic initiatives such as partnerships and start-up projects, and advising on regulatory compliance, data protection, and consumer law. The incumbent will handle legal queries, assist with disputes, and work independently within a collaborative legal department. The role requires a resilient, technically proficient individual with significant experience in commercial law, ideally a qualified solicitor with over five years of PQE or experienced senior legal advisors and contract managers. The position is based in the UK and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with responsibilities that encompass end-to-end legal support for multiple business units.
