The role
A network engineer is required to deliver onsite technical support for a customer’s office and project networks in Porthmadog, Wales. The role involves troubleshooting connectivity issues, maintaining physical network infrastructure, and assisting remote network teams with incident diagnosis and resolution. The engineer will support routers, switches, cabling, and related equipment, alongside performing physical checks and connectivity testing. They should be capable of replacing or reconnecting network hardware and escalating complex issues to specialist teams. Providing basic end-user IT support when needed is also part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with network infrastructure and technical troubleshooting in an active environment.
