The role

UCL seeks a Lecturer or Associate Professor to develop and lead research programmes centred on innovative AI methodologies for biomolecular design and interactions, focusing on molecular recognition and interaction engineering. The role involves conducting undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including a new cross-division MRes in AI for Bioscience, and fostering collaborative, interdisciplinary research within the Structural & Molecular Biology department. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant field, a track record in research-led teaching, and expertise in computational biology, biophysics, or related areas with strong data science skills. The successful applicant will contribute to developing research and teaching in structural biology, machine learning, and biomolecular interactions, supporting external engagement and translational impact.
