The role
UCL is seeking a Lecturer/Associate Professor in the field of AI-driven biosciences to develop a pioneering research and teaching programme focused on molecular recognition and interaction engineering. The successful candidate will conduct innovative research using structural biology, biophysics, and machine learning, fostering collaborations within the research department of Structural & Molecular Biology. Responsibilities include establishing or expanding research activities, delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and contributing to curriculum development, notably for the new MRes AI for Bioscience. The role involves engaging with experimentalists and theoreticians to shape advanced research directions and impact society through scientific innovation. Candidates should hold a PhD in a relevant area, demonstrate a strong record in research-led teaching, and have expertise in quantitative biology and data sciences.
