The role
The Industrial Engineer conducts time studies and motion analysis to improve production efficiency and design factory layouts to support smooth flow. They lead improvement projects and develop standard work documentation to ensure consistent operations. Managing capital equipment justifications and analysing production capacity helps identify gaps and develop solutions. They support ergonomics reviews to reduce injury risks and coordinate engineering changes to production processes. The role involves supporting New Production Introduction phases and building for testing to ensure seamless product launches. They also assist quality engineering in defect investigation and root cause resolution, requiring technical skills and effective communication. The position demands a degree or relevant experience, understanding of MTM, and strong problem-solving abilities in a manufacturing environment.
