The role
A Python Software Engineer is required to join a large-scale public sector transformation project in Leeds. The role involves developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications across the full software lifecycle, with a focus on automation, infrastructure as code, and performance optimisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Python development, AWS services, Terraform, CI/CD, and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. A background working with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud architecture is essential, alongside experience in Agile teams and public sector projects. Familiarity with NHS or Government environments and monitoring tools is desirable. The position offers an initial contract until March 2027, with flexible working arrangements.
