The role
Embedded in Benchling’s product and engineering teams to serve as the integrated product counsel for AI-enabled features and core platform developments.
Provide end-to-end guidance across IP, data privacy, AI governance, and licensing, translating risk across domains into actionable product decisions.
Negotiate AI service terms and data-related provisions for enterprise customers, and maintain a playbook with training materials for sales and support teams.
Lead end-to-end partnerships and licensing for AI initiatives, including data-sharing, co-development, and go-to-market agreements.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success to enable responsible AI go-to-market, creating clear, business-friendly collateral and enablement sessions.
Partner with Security and Privacy teams on incident readiness, data protection, and AI governance; stay current on GDPR, EU AI Act, NIS2, and other global regulations.
