The role
Netcom Online Learning offers a government-funded IT Support course designed to help individuals break into the information technology industry. The programme covers essentials such as hardware, network setup, cloud computing, and troubleshooting in an interactive online environment with practical workshops. Participants will learn to configure and maintain secure networks, manage desktop and mobile devices, and apply cloud security and disaster recovery strategies. The course includes employability workshops, ongoing online career support, and access to additional training resources for six months. Eligibility criteria include residing in the West Midlands, being over 19, earning below the specified wage cap, and not being enrolled in other government-funded training. It is a free course aimed at supporting career development in IT through skills acquisition and certification.
