The role
Lead the Relevance team to design and implement large-scale search and AI-driven answer systems.
Own end-to-end areas including query understanding, retrieval, ranking, features, and measurement.
Integrate LLM-based answers while ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable user experiences.
Set the technical direction for ML and Search, influencing strategy across a 100+ engineer organization.
Mentor and grow Staff and Senior Staff engineers and foster a healthy engineering culture.
Partner with product, design, data, and business teams to deliver user-centric, measurable improvements.
