The role
We are seeking a data-focused Staff Backend Engineer to shape the next generation of host-facing tools and AI-powered features.
Lead the design and evolution of scalable APIs, data pipelines, and ML-backed services that power host workflows and listings management.
Prototype ideas, influence product strategy, and collaborate with product, ML, and engineering teams to deliver impact.
Own technical design reviews, drive architecture decisions, and champion best practices in testing, reliability, and performance.
Mentor junior engineers, grow the team’s capabilities, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
The role is remote-friendly for candidates located in the United States and involves working with distributed teams.
